Always smiling and upbeat, Felix is never one to let things get him down, though he tends to let his fantasies of running away from his owner to live in the wild run- well- wild. He tends to be disappointed in everyday life, but won’t let it show to appease his content friends. He’s somewhat fat from consistently eating house cat food, and his fur is also very long and thick, but he knows how to hunt for himself, and running around the forest has kept him from becoming obese. He loves to tell stories from his kithood, and acts much older or younger than he truly is depending on his mood, though not to any extreme. He still holds his young, reckless view of the world close, but despite his exuberance, he knows the horrors of living in the wild. Still, he refuses to believe he could become one of the unfortunate victims of the elements, and keeps his head high.

Overall quite street-smart, Felix is also charming and flirtatious, though his attempts at romance usually only leave him with a broken heart. He’s become more scrappy and less reliant on his owners as he’s matured, though he can be self-centered and ignorant of his friends’ blatant problems. He tries to be caring and considerate, but only when something is truly wrong or someone tells him outright does he notice something’s going on. Deep down, though he tries to stifle it as best he can, Felix is scared that he isn’t enough- that he’s failing as a cat. He’s afraid that anything he does wrong will come back to bite him, and his mistakes, however small, haunt him. He’s worried he’s letting down his owners, and though he doesn’t admit it, himself, if he can’t do or be anything he wants. He feels like he isn’t reaching his full potential, and if he doesn’t, something terrible will happen. This sometimes clouds his vision- he’ll be so focused on his own problems, he won’t see others’.

Through all of this, he tries to be the best cat he can, and continues to strive to better himself in areas of weakness.
